A short Skit

comedy of errors

Sumona and Alen are neighbors. Sumona is a University pass out 25years, while Alen is a high school kid 18years old, Ankur is Sumona’s cousin comes from India18 years. Ankur and Alen still did not meet each other but Alen knew Sumona going to have her cousin.

The incident took place on one fine morning, Alen saw Ankur came out of Sumona’s house…

Alen: hey pal wasp? Where are….

Ankur: hey how do you know what my surname is?

Alen: what?

Ankur: what what?

Alen: I don know what your surname is?

Ankur: you just said it, “hey pal”

Alen: no dude, I said, hey pal wasp?

Ankur: yes, you say it again..Pal.

Alen: yah, to ensure you that I don’t know.

Ankur: what you don’t know?

Alen: yo ho! I say it for the last f**king time I don know pal, what your surname is.

Ankur: here you said it again, but why do you always try to distort it? It is Pal.

Alen: oh dude, you testing my temper. It’s pal n always be pal..

Ankur: I must say you have a very bad attitude, you do not know how to talk with someone.

Alen: how, how dare you, you irritating..?

Alen cant complete his sentence, Sumona comes to this situation.

Sumona: hey what’s happening to you guys? why are you fighting like this?

Alen: Oh Sumona you have come, sorry to say but your, your relative is an …… idiot

Sumona: oh just tell me, Alen, what is going on?

Alen: I have just seen your cousin came out of your door, so as a friendly gesture I asked him, ‘hey pal, wasp?’ but your cousin keeps on saying, ‘how you know my surname’ pieces of stuff, though I tried to make him understand that I don’t know what his surname is.

Ankur peep over Sumona’s back

Ankur: you say it again, and it’s Pal, not pal(mockingly)

Sumona burst into laughter.

Sumona: oh guys you both are an idiot.

Ankur, pal isn’t that what you understood. It is ‘pal’, not Pal, and ‘pal’ means friend in a more friendly attitude…. And Alen meets my cousin from India Ankur Pal which is supposed to be his surname.

Ankur: hi Alen how do you do?
